Edoxx is a subsidiary of Vepica (www.vepica.com) with over 2000 engineers and technicians working in Canada, US, and Latin America.

Reverse Engineering

Edoxx has extensive expertise in the reproduction of Engineering data and its current as built condition. Engineers and technicians in electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, automation, alarms, mechanical static and dynamic equipment, piping systems, tanks and civil structural elements, review and verify data in the field to produce the as built condition of each vital component.

Upon completion of the data review, each component in the 3D Model gets linked to its corresponding engineering data based on Tags defined for each element and residing in the platform data bases.

Data Consolidation and Cataloging

After years of plant operations and maintenance, several as-built conditions of the plant are not reflected in the latest drawings. It is common, considering the operational pressures and/or the revamps and upgrade processes, to find drawings, data sheets, P&ID´s and other technical data, duplicated while also providing conflicting information.

Before uploading information into an intelligent model, and/or into our IT Platform, Edoxx engineers implement a detailed engineering process to verify and confirm the as-built engineering condition. Conflic data is corrected, and real up-to-date data is reflected in the 3D model for drawings and engineering re-production.

A critical component to achieve success during engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations activities, is the maintenance of accurate engineering data and operational condition of each plant element. Consistency in the data attributes like tagging, numbering and cataloging is vital for the decision-making process. Edoxx engineers support clients within the reverse engineering process, and/or during the production of as-built data to mitigate such risk, and to enhance the project success. Fewer errors, faster data access, fewer sub-contractor claims, and less operational costs, are some of the results of a proper data management.
